Wapsi Wilderness Wipeout

Course Description:

The rolling hills of Wapsipinicon State Park in Anamosa are crossed and connected by a series of well-maintained trails.

The majority of the 6-kilometer course (3.78 miles) will traverse these grass and dirt trails, while also utilizing paved park-access roads when necessary.

Runners may encounter natural obstacles such as downed-trees, creek crossings and muddy slopes throughout the course.

Fees:

$25.00 before October 1, $30.00 after October 1.

Race Shirts:

Shirts are included in the entry fee.

Awards:

Awards will be given to the top male and female overall, and the top male and female in the following categories:

• 19 and under
• 20-29
• 30-39
• 40-49
• 50+

Proceeds

The Wapsi Wilderness Wipeout is organized by Ignite Jones County. Ignite is a Young Professional’s group in Jones County that strives to better our

community, businesses, schools and selves through Connecting, Learning and Living. Money raised through the Wapsi Wilderness Wipeout will be

reinvested in our community through seminars, training, and service projects.
